Ms. Overholt has also studied and performed as an actress, having studied with world-renowned acting coach Michael Shurtleff and has appeared in television and in feature film ("Jasper, Texas" with John Voigt & "The Highwaymen" for ABC television.) As an Entertainment Producer on major television shows, she books international artists. She is able to bring out a top-notch performance from singers, including big stars as well as absolute novices. Ms. Overholt has also been an Associate Producer and Vocal Producer on numerous albums.

All of this experience has led her to a deep understanding and passion for the human voice, for being onstage, in the studio, on the road, and above all, she holds a passion for every individual to reach down deep and find out what is totally unique about them that can give them an incredible power in their own creativity. Through an 12 year relationship with Sharon, Lois & Bram (North America's top children's entertainers for 20 years), Elaine contracted and coached hundreds of child singers for many of their albums as well as their hit TV show "Skinnamarink TV", NBC's "Live from Busch Gardens", appearing alongside Stevie Wonder. She also coached six children along with Tina herself, for a Tina Turner recording session.

She has enjoyed voice coaching for hundreds, including Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger, Queen Latifah & Mya on "Chicago" the movie, Lindsay Lohan and Carol Kane on the upcoming Disney feature "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen", Steven Seagal, Alannah Myles "Black Velvet", Sharon, Lois & Bram, "Triumph" Edwin (Sony), the hit TV show "Popstars", Amy Sky, Paul Gross (Due South), Liona Boyd and Leahy. Elaine has trained singers for lead roles on Broadway ("The Producers", "Rent", "Mamma Mia"), major network television, and film. Record labels (Universal, EMI, Sony & Virgin) send their artists to Ms. Overholt where they learn to protect their voices, warm up and develop stamina and style. She is a master Vocal Producer in studio sessions, working alongside many well-known producers who have learned to trust her ability to coax "magical" performances from recording artists.
